J’ai choisi de changer l’ordre des couplets, d’en supprimer deux, de finir avec celui exprimant l’amour que l’heroine souhaitait vivre et ne garder à la fin que la premiere phrase comme un adieu envers ses soeurs, comme un hommage à la liberté de choisir sa vie.
I chose to change the order of the verses, to remove two of them, to end with the one expressing the love the heroine wished to experience, and to keep only the first sentence at the end as a farewell to her sisters, as a tribute to the freedom to choose one’s life.
