As I listen to this fantastic and celebrated orchestral aria, I realize I have long dreamed of an a cappella jazz-style version—though finding the right performers was the challenge, given how demanding the soprano solo part is! You can hear the angels singing; thank you, Johann Sebastian, for making life more beautiful and lighter by lifting our gaze, our hearts, and our souls! Thanks also to the remarkable singers (as always) of the Rocky Mountain Chamber Choir—and, of course, a special mention for the soloist!

En écoutant ce fantastique aria pour orchestre si célèbre, il y a longtemps que je pendais à une version dans un style jazz pour choeur a cappella, encore fallait-il trouevr les interprètes: la partition est redoutable pour la soprano solo! On entend les anges chanter, merci Johann Sebastian de nous rendre la vie plus belle plus légère avec cette altitude du regard, du coeur et de l’âme! Merci aussi aux remarquables (comme toujours) chanteuses et chanteurs du Rocky Mountain Chamber Choir avec bien sûr une mention spéciale pour la voix solo!
