At the edge of the universe
come alongside ships of winds and waves
and stretch out star beaches
where do sea lovers sleep
at the edge of the universe
it is written
that love is for man
what winds and waves are for the sea
and the stars for the distant sky
What are the winds and waves for the sea?
What are the stars for the distant sky?
Aux bords de l’univers
accostent des vaisseaux de vents et de vagues
et s’étirent des plages d’étoiles
où viennent dormir les amants marins
aux bords de l’univers
il est écrit
que l’amour est à l’homme
ce que les vent et les vagues sont à la mer
et les étoiles au ciel lointain
Que sont les vents et les vagues à la mer?
Que sont les étoiles au ciel lointain?
