Description
Since the day I played this sarabande on the guitar, I have thought of a choir that would be ideal to render the sustained dissonances, the implied layers in this incredible moment of music, like an elevation, distant echoes that one would perceive, on the edge of the unspeakable… I am of course also thinking of Knut Nystedt and his Immortal Bach!
Depuis le jour où j’ai joué cette sarabande à la guitare, j’ai pensé à un choeur qui serait idéal pour rendre les dissonances maintenues, les nappes sous entendues dans cet incroyable moment de musique, comme une élévation, de lointains échos que l’on percevrait, à l’orée de l’indicible… Je pense bien sûr aussi à Knut Nystedt et son Immortal Bach!
Seit dem Tag, an dem ich diese Sarabande auf der Gitarre spielte, Ich dachte an einen Chor, der ideal wäre um die Dissonanzen aufrecht zu erhalten, die Schichten implizierten in diesem unglaublichen Moment der Musik, wie eine Erhebung, entfernte Echos, die man am Rande des Unaussprechlichen wahrnehmen würde … Ich denke natürlich auch an Knut Nystedt und seinen Unsterblichen Bach!
